Emboss
Rotary and flatbed embossing raises images, type or textures from the label to gain consumer attention through visual appeal and the tactile effect: influencing consumers to pick up the package. To achieve this on a web fed press the embossing dies comes in male/female pairs. As the substrate passes through the nip, the image is embossed. Embossing can be simultaneously applied with foil by means of a foil embossing die.
